I'm a postdoctoral researcher at North Carolina State University working in the Larson Lab.

As a computational urban policy researcher, I investigate how administrative systems shape inequalities in greenspace access, use, and benefits. Moving beyond static measures of park provision, I analyze how government capacity, maintenance practices, and infrastructure planning influence who actually uses and benefits from urban greenspaces. I integrate large-scale human mobility data, administrative records, LLM-assisted text analysis, quasi-experimental designs, and geospatial methods to uncover the institutional mechanisms underlying environmental inequality.

I hold a PhD in Public Administration and Policy from Arizona State University. I received an MPA from Korea University and a BS in Chemistry (with a minor in Science & Technology Policy) from Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST).
